Socktober\u00a0Shatters Records Again!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSocktober\u201d continues to be a celebrated and engaging campaign for Compass One Healthcare associates across the country. This year,\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0proud to share that we not only met, but exceeded, our goals by collecting and donating more than 300,000 pairs of socks to charities nationwide.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Crothall\u00a0teams played\u00a0a major role\u00a0in this year\u2019s effort, with more than\u00a0<\/span>3,000 associates<\/span>\u00a0participating\u00a0nationwide.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who donated even a single pair of socks to help make the campaign a success. Several health systems\u00a0demonstrated\u00a0outstanding engagement:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Cincinnati Children\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0collected over\u00a0<\/span>4,000 pairs of socks<\/span>, donating them to the Cincinnati\u00a0Freestore\u00a0Foodbank and Reach Out Lakota.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 At\u00a0<\/span>MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>MedStar Union Memorial Hospital<\/span>, Patient Transportation teams gathered\u00a0<\/span>4,000 pairs<\/span>\u00a0through a friendly competition. Both hospitals shared that\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0excited to\u00a0participate\u00a0again next year.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest<\/span>\u00a0donated more than\u00a0<\/span>3,400 pairs<\/span>, supporting the Valley Youth Home.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 At\u00a0<\/span>Gulfport Memorial Hospital<\/span>,\u00a0Crothall\u00a0and Morrison associates teamed up to collect over\u00a0<\/span>1,000 pairs<\/span>, which were donated to Gulf Coast Community Ministries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Together, Compass One Healthcare has now donated more than one million pairs of socks to those in need. Compass One Healthcare powered by\u00a0Morrison Healthcare,\u00a0Crothall\u00a0Healthcare,\u00a0Intelas, and\u00a0TouchPoint\u00a0Support Services hosts this annual drive to encourage hospital, health system, and senior living teams across the U.S. to donate socks to local shelters and charities.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Socks\u00a0remain\u00a0one of the\u00a0<\/span>most requested items<\/span>\u00a0in shelters.\u00a0Many people experiencing homelessness rarely have the opportunity to remove their shoes or wash their clothing, making clean socks a simple but critical necessity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
