Walter Singleterry has worked as a member of the Environmental Services at Baptist Health Shelby Hospital for the last 14 years. Not long after after he was hired, Walter was promoted to cleaning patients\u2019 rooms\u2014a position he does not take lightly. Phyllis Thomas, a manager in the EVS department at Shelby Hospital, has worked at the hospital for 16 years. One of her first memories of Walter was of him smiling, joyfully saying, \u2018Praise the Lord!\u2019 It was a moment she\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n
